Why Now?

WiFi Network interconnectivity is just the beginning.

By the end of 2008, laptops, phones, MP3 players, and digital cameras will be in available with WiMAX chips installed. Voice and data revenues from WiMAX subscribers are anticipated to grow exponentially fueled by multi-billion dollar investments from market leaders such as Sprint, Intel and Motorola. Already multi-band services exist that can roam over WiFi or HSDPA (Cellular) networks.

Devices leveraging wireless broadband interconnectivity are no longer limited to laptops. By 2010 WiFi phone sales are expected to top $145 billion, with the fixed mobile converged phones expected to represent 35% of the dual-mode WiFi/cellular phone market. Telco and WiFi aggregator services are announcing flat rate roaming service packages that will to further drive up consumer usage at public WiFi hotspots.
